Edit: I have tried out a few things and the saving/exporting and theme issues only occur if I run the apps via the itch desktop app. If click to find the local files on my computer and run them directly I have no problems.
I also could not save files in Marabu or Left if run through the Itch app but they work perfectly if you run them directly. they gave the errors
'An error ocurred creating the file EPERM: operation not permitted, open...' then the loaction I was trying to save to.

Hello, I have been playing around with dotgrid tonight and am unable to get it to export anything, it goes through the motions of selecting a destination for the save file or export and lets your choose a file name, but when I click save no file appears.
also dragging the themes into the app window doesn't seem to work for me either.
i'm on a mac using High Sierra 10.13.3 and running dotgrid through the itch app
maybe i'm just doing something wrong, let me know if you need any more information
